Welcome to the Urology Clinic in Malmö. Here we have a great working environment and a strong team spirit. We help each other, support one another, and have fun at work. We offer you a varied job with excellent development opportunities!
Within the area of urology, we have a clinic in Malmö and two wards where we conduct highly specialized urological services. Our patients are both men and women of varying ages who come to us due to diseases of the urinary tract. The care includes both benign and malignant conditions. The surgery ranges from minor procedures at the clinic to major pelvic surgery. Many patients require ongoing care, which provides good patient contact and continuity in care. A large patient group consists of neurological patients with bladder dysfunction.
At the clinic, there are contact nurses specializing in prostate, bladder, kidney, and penile and testicular cancer. The urotherapy clinic is part of the Urology Clinic and is included in the Pelvic Floor Center at Skåne University Hospital. There is also a team of nurses who manage shock wave treatment for kidney stones (ESWL).
We have recently moved the Urology Clinic into completely new premises. Here we operate in modern, high-tech equipped facilities, which in itself presents an exciting challenge. In other words, you will have the opportunity to help shape a new clinic with new working methods.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a nurse for a permanent position and two nurses for 18-month temporary positions.
With us, we work according to the alternating duty model. This means that you will primarily be placed at the clinic but will work two out of five weekends in one of our urological wards. This working method creates stimulating variation and competence development. We offer thorough training and introduction in both the clinic and the ward.
In your role as a nurse, you will work both in a team and independently with your own clinic. Your work will involve investigating, providing support, advice, and treatment to patients with various symptoms from the bladder. This can include urinary incontinence, urinary urgency, and bladder emptying problems. A large patient group consists of neurological patients with bladder dysfunction. We participate in patient conferences every week together with other professionals such as urotherapists, nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants.
With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction and opportunities for further education in the field of incontinence. We continuously work on each employee's individual competence development. With us, you can grow!
We have a good working environment that we cherish, and we have a strong team spirit. We help each other, support one another, and have fun at work. We offer you a varied job with excellent development opportunities!
